Tokumaru Japanese Market
Solaris | 08.12.24
The event where we had our Estonian debut last year is back! This time we got to dance Seichou Naruko Odori parade style along the concourses of the shopping mall, and then dance Banzai! Naruko Carnival surrounded by visitors from all sides!
V Japan Culture Day
PERG, Tallinn | 09.11.24
We got to do 3! workshops on Yocchore for the third time at Japanese Culture Day which this time took place in Tallinn. We also performed with Warera Yosakoi Odorunja at the opening and Iyasaka Akita and Banzai! Naruko Carnival at the closing ceremony.
J-Tsoon Burning Pumpkin Fest 2024

Yet another J-Tsoon! We had a soran bushi workshop which resulted in a whole three(3!) new members joining us! We also performed both on the small and big stage with Iyasaka Akita and Banzai! Naruko Carnival, and Yosakoi Eisaa Ryuukyuuou in the general area. As usual, the audience at this event is super supportive and dancing in front of them is pure joy!
Animega Mess

We went to dance at an event in Rakvere!! It was a super fun event and we danced Soran Bushi, Warera Yosakoi Odorunja! and everyone's favorite Ishikari Shake Samba. Yuurin hopes we can go back there next time it is organized
AkiMatsuri Höstfestival

Byakuya Yosakoi invited us to a fall festival in Stockholm where we could dance together both bon odori and a few yosakoi dances. Namely we danced Soran Bushi and Hifumi (and Gorin Ondo!)
Lüüra Family Day

International cultures center Lüüra invited us to participate in their autumn celebration event that featured performances from various international dancers and singers. It was a wonderful warm outdoor event with a great stage on which we danced Warera Yosakoi Odorunja and Shake Samba
GeekEstStuudio Birthday Party
Tallinn History Museum | 07.09.24
CosEstStuudio invited us to perform at their birthday party! We performed with Iyasaka Akita and then made the public dance Everybody Koiya and Ishikari Shake Samba along with us!
Nami Airando 2024
Wroclaw, Poland | 24.08.24
We once again went to Poland to dance together with Sakuramai Poland, Ameagari Yosakoi and Byakuya Yosakoi. This time we danced a whole 6 dances together and one solo dance alone. It was very hot but very fun!
Animatsuri 2024
Tartu | 20-21.07.24
We made a small yosakoi workshop at Animatsuri and had the honor of performing before the final award ceremony with Iyasaka Akita and Warera Yosakoi Odorun Ja! We were two times more than at last Animatsuri and felt very honored to be the final act of this wonderful event of many years.
Embroidery Unites

We performed with Nanchuu Soran Bushi and Uchouten at an outdoor event of Ukrainian and other cultures united through Embroidery! It was a precious opportunity to be able to dance at an event not about Japanese culture and introduce its visitors to yosakoi!

Yuurin performed with Seichou Naruko Odori and Ishikari Shake Samba at a Japanese culture evening of a local language school!

Yuurin traveled to Stockholm, Sweden to dance at their Sakura Matsuri alongside the Swedish yosakoi team Byakuya Yosakoi!
J-Tsoon 5

Yuurin along with Byakuya Yosakoi from Sweden performed at J-Tsoon a whole 4 times during the 2 days with 3 dances - Soran Bushi, Kumano Hareya Ondo, and Ishikari Shake Samba. We also held a lecture about yosakoi and a workshop where everyone could learn Kuru Kuru Don! We also danced Uraja Ondo with everyone!
IV Japan Culture Day

Yuurin organized 3x30 min workshops where anyone could learn the super fun Uraja Genkyoku. Our performance was also the closing part of the event as we performed with Nanchuu Soran Bushi, Kumano Hareya Ondo, and lastly with Uraja Genkyoku along those who learned it at the workshop!
CosEstStuudio Winter Ball

CosEstStudio organized a winter ball, and Yuurin was invited to perform there! We performed with Seichou Yosakoi Naruko Odori and Kumano Hareya Ondo, and finally taught everyone how to dance Ishikari Shake Samba along with us! This fancy black-tie event was incredibly fun and we hope to be invited back to CosEst's next events ;)
Tourest 2024

Embassy of Japan in Estonia gave us an opportunity to talk about yosakoi festivals in Japan at their table at the largest tourism fair in the Baltic States! Hopefully with this even more people from Estonia will get motivated to include yosakoi into their next travel itinerary!
Yosakoi workshop for kids!

Tallinn Cathedral School had an international cultures' day, and invited Yuurin to talk to their children about yosakoi as a part of the Japanese culture. We told the kids about what is yosakoi and danced together Nanchuu Soran Bushi and Ishikari Shake Samba. Everyone also of course got to try out clapping naruko. Thank you for having us!
Animatsuri 2023

Yuurin's first trip to Tartu was a blast! Not only did we get to perform on the stage right before the cosplay awards in front of the warmest public ever, but we also had 1.5 hours on both days of the event to talk about what yosakoi is, show videos of yosakoi, and dance all together! On the first day the participants got to learn Soran Bushi and then go up on the stage to dokkoisho all together! On the second we learned Yosakoi Eisaa Ryuukyuuou. (Yuurin members also won the quiz)

Yuurin participated in the Japanese Culture Day where we not only performed with two dances - Hifumi and Street of the Soran - during the opening, but also offered two Yosakoi workshops! Anyone could come, try to clap narukos, and not only learn a fun Okinawan yosakoi dance for themselves, but also perform with it all together at the closing of the event!
J-Tsoon Pumpkin Fest

Over the two days we performed with 4 dances, and danced Uraja with everyone who wanted to join in. On the second day we even got a really cool looking cosplayer to stand in the middle of our Uraja circle - turning dancing into a summoning ritual! Yosakoi: intro&workshop

Tallinn University Japanese Club invited us to talk about everything yosakoi and teach everyone present how to dokkoisho dokkoisho!🔥💃 We looked at yosakoi performances of various teams, clapped naruko all together, and of course didn't forget to recruit for our team while we were at it😊 The whole event was a whole lot of fun!

Yuurin's first time performing in our home city Tallinn! We performed two dances and then made all onlookers dance Uraja in a BIG circle together with us.
Nami Airando

We got to dance with four other teams: Sakuramai Poland, Yosakoi Hanamaru from Czechia, Byakuya Yosakoi from Sweden and Ameagari Yosakoi from Hungary! We danced three dances all together, and two together with Byakuya - one as our solo dance, and one as theirs. The sky was blue, the public was lovely and all dancers were full of energy and smiles!

Yuurin's very first performance in collaboration with Byakuya Yosakoi. Although from Yuurin only 2 members were present, this was the first time our name got mentioned on a stage! We danced together Ganko and Kumano Hareya Ondo wearing Byakuya's costumes but carrying Yuurin's spirit with us!
